Re-Stringing an Art Deco Necklace

(gold, diamonds, emeralds and river beads)

One area of this art deco necklace come undone and was handed over for repair.

​

 I replaced the snapped threads and strung back all the river pearls of 1mm size, faithfully to recreate the original twisting pattern.​

The first stage was to study the stringing technic used originally for this jewellery, and cross reference with past records and information from beaders.
